Blood is a tough stain, especially if it is not treated while the stain is still fresh. So to remove it effectively, it needs to be pre-treated. The most effective solution to remove blood from clothes is Ariel Power Gel, as blood is an enzymatic stain and Ariel Power Gel detergent has enzymes that are very efficient at breaking down enzymatic stains. So follow the instructions below and get rid of those pesky blood stains in the 1st go.
A bit of red in your outfit can be a good thing, but when it comes from your blood and is smeared on your favorite blouse, it’s definitely not a good thing.
Salt is the old favorite to remove blood stains from fabric and your favorite garments, but at Ariel we prefer a different method that doesn’t involve experimenting. Watch our step by step guide on how to get rid of blood stains from clothing, or read the instructions below.
Removing blood stains
Rinse the blood stained garment under cold running water to remove any excess blood. The higher the water pressure, the easier it will be to remove any excess.
Pour Ariel Power Gel directly onto the stain, enough to completely cover it. Spread the detergent over the stain with your fingers.
You can pour the detergent into the drum from either the sachet or directly from the bottle.
Without washing off the detergent, place the garment into the washing machine with other items. Leaving the detergent on the stain will boost your wash performance.
Wash with the usual cycle, at the highest indicated temperature. Always make sure to follow the instructions on the garment’s care label.
After the wash cycle is complete, unload the garments immediately.
Effective stain removal on many stains
Blood stains seem to happen most when playing sports. And often they happen at the same time as other stains. Whether there are mud or grass stains, sweat stains, or deodorant marks, there’s no need to worry. Ariel helps you stay covered against these tough stains.
Choose Ariel Power Gel for tough stain removal, clean and fresh smelling clothes in 1 wash.
However, if you prefer to use a powder detergent like Ariel Sunrise Fresh, then the above steps still apply when it comes to removing those tough stains.
